On December 15th, a management agreement was entered into between the Hawaii Branch under Oceanwide Holdings and Kerzner, the operator of Atlantis resort, and Atlantis Hotel would officially settle in Oceanwide Hawaii Project. It is the first Atlantis resort in US, and the fourth Atlantis resort in the world.

Represented by the Atlantis resort in Palm Islands, Dubai, Atlantis is the world recognized entertainment and resort hotel brand. “Oceanwide is glad to cooperate with Kerzner to bring to Hawaii the Atlantis resort that boasts the highest reputation and the highest quality in the world,” Oceanwide explained. “Among several major projects in Hawaii, Oceanwide will give top priority to this project and strive to cooperate with the partner to make long-term and active contributions to the local community through the development and construction.”

The overall design of the Atlantis resort in Hawaii will integrate the modern elegant style and local natural and cultural elements in Hawaii. The whole hotel covers a land area of over 100,000m2, including 800 guestrooms and suites and 523 apartments, as well as high-end comfortable facilities such as dining halls, bars, boutiques, beach clubs, spa centers, fitness centers, aquariums, water parks and other activity spaces.

In September 2016, Oceanwide’s subordinate company purchased a 26-acre land in Hawaii, including the abovementioned Atlantis resort. Located at the crossroads of the Pacific far away from US, Hawaii is a world-famous island tourist destination. That is to say, the Atlantis resort in Hawaii is an important layout of Oceanwide in US real estate business. In the past two years, Oceanwide’s urban complex projects in Los Angeles and San Francisco have successively commenced, while the Hawaiian Project targeting tourism properties will diversify Oceanwide’s real estate business and enrich its experience in tourism properties and hotel operations.
