On the afternoon of November 28, 2016, the delegation composed of relevant heads of Wuhan Administration of Work Safety and Wuhan Urban and Rural Construction Commission, led by the Mayor of Wuhan City Wan Yong, Executive Deputy Mayor Long Zhengcai, Deputy Mayor Shao Weimin and Zhang Guangqing, inspected the work safety of Plot 17 North Project  of Wuhan CBD in winter during the inspection on the work safety and prominent environment rectification and reform of the city in winter.

The delegation led by Mayor Wan Yong firstly inspected the implementation of work safety measures in Plot 17 North Project  and conducted on-site investigation of the high and large formwork support and establishment of scaffolds on the construction site of the main structure of No. 1 Office Building. Mayor Wan Yong stressed that Wuhan CBD was the key construction project of the city and the province, and the work safety management should be highly emphasized while increasing the construction speed, especially the safety of work high above the ground in winter and protection against fire, coldness and skid. It is hoped that all the parties in the construction should further strengthen organization and coordination, fully implement the work safety standard measures, and make greater contributions to the safe and rapid construction of Wuhan CBD.

Located in the east of the core area of Wuhan CBD with a total construction area of 387,100m2, the Plot 17 North Project is a commercial complex composed of four high-rise office buildings. No. 1 and 2 are office buildings with 51 storeys above the ground, and No.3 and 4 will serve respectively as the customized office building for Postal Savings Bank of China and China Mobile. Currently all the buildings are under the construction of main structure.
