On August 20, 2017, Shenzhen Oceanwide City Square Shopping Center and Oceanwide Cineplex were solemnly opened in the Moon Bay Area, Nanshan District, Shenzhen City. Relevant leaders from Oceanwide Real Estate Investment Management Co., Ltd. cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony.

On the date of inauguration, Shenzhen Oceanwide City Square Shopping Center conducted several interactive activities, which attracted a great many customers, and set a record of 8,000 customers on the first day. Meanwhile, Oceanwide Cineplex had a good start on the first day, ranking top three among eleven cineplexes within 5km in terms of the occupancy rate. Covering an area of 26,000m2, Shenzhen Oceanwide City Square is an urban complex integrating commerce, office and business apartment, with several types of operation such as modern cinema, children's playground, supermarket, fashion fitness center and leisure restaurant. The square strives to build an “eco-friendly, energy-saving, livable, convenient and harmonious” low-carbon community, and establish a picturesque one-stop life experience center for community residents.
